Viola Campbell, 84, formerly of Newport, went to be with the Lord on October 19, 2001 in Sarasota, Florida.
She was of the Baptist faith.
Her husband, Harlan Campbell; parents, James and Nannie Lamb ; sisters, Mamie Huskey , Minnie Parker, and Trula Maples; and brothers, Calvin Lamb , Jim Lamb , and Henry Lamb preceded her in death.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Frances and Glen Greer, of Sarasota, Florida; son, Gerald Poole; sisters, Blanche Scarlett, of St. Petersburg, Florida; and Ruth Wilbanks, of California; brother, Albert Lamb , of Maynardsville; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 31, 2001, at 8 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Bush officiating.
The graveside service will be Thursday, November 1, 2001, at 11 a.m. at New Home Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening, October 31, 2001, from 6 to 8 p.m. prior to the funeral service.
Brown Funeral Home has been honored to provide the final arrangements for Mrs. Viola Campbell.
