Jean Mae Hughes Franklin, 77, died Tuesday, April 14, 2008 in Dallas, Texas.Mrs. Franklin was born September 20, 1930 in Joliet, Illinois, the oldest of 13 children born to Daniel and Cora May Norton Hughes. She was raised in Ft. Worth, eventually moving to Grand Prairie with her family.She is survived by her daughters, Linda Sue Rodriguez and her husband Thomas, Janet Ellington and her husband Tommy; 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Henry Roland Franklin Sr. and a son, Henry Franklin Jr.Visitation: 6 to 8 Thursday at Guerrero-Dean Funeral Home. Graveside service: 1 p.m. Friday, April 18, 2008 at Southland Memorial Park.
