HEMBREE, PAUL, 82, of Walland died at 8 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 15, at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center. He was retired from ALCOA.
Survivors: sons, M. H. Hembree of Hampton, Ga., Ronnie Lynn Hembree of Louisville, Gary Hembree of Walland; daughters, Judy Gail Turnmire of Maryville, Evelyn Jones of Sevierville; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; brother, John Nathanniel (Thannah) Hembree of Townsend; sisters, Edna Trentham of Townsend, Lucy Huskey of Maryville.
Funeral services will be at 8 p.m. today at Smith Mortuary. Interment will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 17 at Tuckaleechee Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery (Coker Hill Cemetery). Family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the mortuary.

HEMBREE, PAUL - age 82, of Walland, died at 8 a.m. Thursday, February 15, 2001, at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was also a member of Tuckaleechee Primitive Baptist Church and the ALCOA 25 Year Club. Mr. Hembree served in the United States Army in World War II. Preceded in death by wife, Mary Ethel Tipton Hembree; parents, John Lewis & Mary Jane Abbott Hembree; brothers, Earl Howell & Conard Hembree; sister, Lula Melton.
Survivors include: son and daughter in law, M.H. & Mildred Hembree of Hampton, Ga.; sons, Ronnie Lynn Hembree of Louisville, Tenn. and Gary Hembree of Walland; daughter and son in law, Judy Gail & Stanley Turnmire of Maryville; daughter, Evelyn Jones of Sevierville; 14 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildrenn; four great-great grandchildren; brother, John Nathanniel (Thannah) Hembree of Townsend; sisters, Edna Trentham of Townsend and Lucy Huskey of Maryville.
