He is survived by mother, Maydell Atchley; sister's, Burma Carr; Mary and husband Donald Scates; brother Doug and wife Gina Atchley; sister-in-law, Bobbie Atchley; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Highway, Saturday, January 1, 2011, from 5:00-7:00 pm, with the service to follow at 7:00 pm, with George Hollander officiating.
