Kate Carr LeSueur, 85, of Dillwyn, Va., formerly of Sevier County, died March 31, 2000 of complications from Alzheimer's Disease.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Billie D. LeSueur; two brothers and one sister.
Her parents were the Rev. Joel and Liza Carr of Sevierville.
She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Betty L. Carneal of Williamsburg, Va., and Karolyn L. and Walt Geigert of Dillwyn; sisters and brother-in-law, Hetty Bryan of Dillwyn and Ruth and Paul Galyon of Sevierville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ralph and Linda Carr of Seymour, Bruce and Edna Carr of Sevierville and Paul and Genevieve of Winchester; sisters-in-law, Annie LeSueur of Dillwyn and Kathleen LeSueur of Culpepper, Va.; three grandchildren, one great-grandchild and 13 nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Sunday, April 2, at First Baptist Church of Dillwyn with interment in Cedar Baptist Church Cemetery.
