DEPEW , FRED EARL, SR. who was born June 17th, 1925 passed away from this life on July 21st, 2010. This loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather was preceded in death by his son, Fred E. Depew Jr.; his mother, Reese Brown, his father, Wint Depew ; and brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Winnifred C. Depew ; his son, Jeffrey B. Depew (Kristin); his grandchildren, Fred E. Depew III, Mark A Depew (Claudia), Nicole M. Depew Johnson (Rob), Jeffrey K. (Jake) Depew ; and several great-grandchildren. Fred was a veteran who served in the United States Navy as an Armed Guard during WWII. He was a local business man and a charter member of the Masonic Lodge #769 in South Knoxville. The family will receive friends On Friday, July 23rd, 2010 from 5:00 to 6:30 pm at Highland Memorial Funeral Home with the funeral to follow with Brian Myers officiating.
