CHEEK, TERRELL M. (T.C.) age 53, of Knoxville , passed away Friday , December 28 , 2007 at Baptist Hospital of East Tennessee after a courageous battle with mesothelioma . He was christened in the Methodist Church as an infant, and later rededicated his life to the Lord at Harvest Church in August of 2007 . He was a US Navy veteran serving on the USS Oriskany and USS Ticonderoga. He was a member of the Burlington Masonic Lodge #763 F&AM, a NASCAR licensed dirt track racecar driver for over 20 years, and loved to ride his Harley. He had a real zest for life and lived every minute to the fullest. He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Cheek. Survivors: daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Vincent Presutto; mother, Barbara Brown Cheek; grandson, Elias Trevor Marshall Presutto; sister and brother-in-law, Janis and Bob Crye; sister, Vicki Cheek all of Knoxville ; niece, Laura Mauldin of Murfreesboro; loving partner and soul mate, Becky Cheek of Knoxville ; lots and lots of great friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Stevens Mortuary. The family and friends will meet at 12:45 p.m. Thursday at Lynnhurst Cemetery for a graveside service and interment at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Jackie Harper officiating.
