  [S4] Knoxville News-Sentinel (Tennessee), 23 Apr 2004. RAYFIELD, LILLIE M. — age 95 of Knoxville, passed away Friday, April 23, 2004 at her residence. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. A member of First Baptist Church of Sevierville. Preceded in death by husband: Troy Rayfield, son: Ronald Rayfield, parents: Allen and Eliza Mayes and sister: Edra Rogers. Mrs. Rayfield is survived by her loving family, son: Jack Rayfield of Merritt Island, FL, daughters: Barbara Taylor and Sue Brewer both of Knoxville, sister: Lola Douglass of Sevierville, sisters in- law: Rose Rayfield of Tittusville, FL. and Dona Rayfield of Knoxville, adopted daughter: Sylvia Smith Moore of Seymour. She also leaves 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Rayfield is at Highland South where the family will receive friends Tuesday, April 27, from 7-8 pm with a funeral service to follow at 8 pm with Rev. Jerry Hyder officiating. Family and friends will meet Wednesday at Pigeon Forge Baptist Church Cemetery in Sevierville, for an 11 am graveside.
