HOUSER, MANFRED JOHN, - age 83 of Maryville, died Thursday, June 15, 2000, at Fairpark Healthcare Center. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife, Grace Deloris Houser; parents, Robert and Nora Ogle Houser; and brother, Clyde Houser.
Survivors include: daughter, Kay Collins of Maryville; daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Gary Tallent; grandson, John Scott Tipton and wife Stacy; great granddaughters, Brandi and Rebecca Tipton; brother, Muncy Houser of Gatlinburg; sister-in-law, Reba Houser; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Floyd and Louise Peterson of Etowah; nieces and nephews, Donna Rimel, Sandra Isreal, Larry Houser all of Pigeon Forge, Don Peterson, Bradley Peterson and Robin Peterson all of Etowah. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Saturday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Hutsell officiating. Family and friends will meet at 1:00 p.m. Sunday at Grandview Cemetery for the interment service. The family will receive friends from 6-7:00 p.m. Saturday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville.
