He was a Boy Scout with Troop 42, Baptist Temple, Huntington, WV where he earned his ranking of Eagle Scout on December 21st, 1965. He was preceded in death by his mother, Norma Keefer, brother, Robert Keefer, and father-in-law, Luke Garretson. Survivors: Wife: Brenda Keefer Son and daughter-in-law: Chris and Jamie Boyle Daughter and son-in-law: Diana and Michael Hayes Grandchildren: Garret Boyle, Caleb Hayes, Alexis Boyle, Shelby Hayes and Colby Boyle Father: Joe Keefer of Huntington, WV Mother-in-law: Helen Garretson of Barboursville, WV Sister and brother-in-law: Bonnie and Verlin Hughes Sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Tammi Keefer, Rachel and Dale Ashworth, Jack Garretson, Andy and Angie Garretson Many nieces and nephews who he loved very much In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Allen Keefer to the Northview Kodak Fire Department.
