February 10, 1938 - November 15, 2015 Resided in Seymour, TN Minnie Elizabeth Flynn, age 77, of Seymour went to her Heavenly home Sunday, November 15, 2015 at Tennova North Hospital. Minnie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her devotion was to her family, babysitting and helping raise her nieces, nephews and other children. She will be greatly missed and was loved by all. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Nelle Mikels; father and mother-in-law, Marvin and Edith Flynn; brothers, Clyde Mikels, Larry Mikels; sisters-in-law, Billy Sue Mikels and Stella Grant; and brothers-in-law, Doyle Valentine and Gene Latham. Minnie is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Herman Lee Flynn; son, Michael Lee Flynn and wife, Sherrie; daughter, Melissa Gail Davis; grandchildren, Brad Davis, Aaron Davis, and Dillan Davis; siblings, Hazel Mikels, James "Bud" Edward and friend, Jewel, Fred Howard, Jr. and wife, Hilda, Georgia Valentine, Nellie Latham, Faye Mabry, Jerry Mikels, Sue Sanders and husband, Don, Darrell Mikels and wife, Paula, Pam Maxwell and husband, Paul, Roy Mikels and wife, Sue; brothers-in-law, Carl Flynn and wife, Ollie Bell, Kenneth Flynn and wife, Eula, and Ralph Flynn and wife, Bobbie; sister-in-law, Mary Ruth Fairchild and husband, Leonard; numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Knob Creek Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 959 N Knob Creek Rd, Seymour, TN 37865. The family will receive friends from 4 PM to 6:45 PM Wednesday with the funeral service to follow at 7 PM in Atchley's Seymour Chapel, 122 Peacock Court, Seymour, TN. Rev. Edward King officiating.
