Sally Naomi Whaley, 88, of Maryville died Tuesday, September 10, 2002, at Blount Memorial Hospital.She was preceded in death by her husband, Arlie Whaley; daughters, Janet Watson, Betty Moses; son, Eddie Whaley; and a brother.Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Lucy and Roger Delk of Maryville, Dot and Luke McBrayer of Georgia; son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Lillie Whaley of Maryville; 16 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and brother and sister-in-law, Christine Thomas of Maryville; and several nieces and nephews.The funeral service will be 8 p.m. Thursday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Riner officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
