HARRODSBURG - Manota Hazel Murray , 90 , died Friday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Born Feb. 13, 1916, in Harlan, she was the daughter of the late John and Serlida Napier Houston. She was a retired Beaumont Inn waitress and a member of Dry Branch Baptist Church. She was the widow of Harvey Murray.
Survivors include a son, Willie Murray of Connersville, Ind.; a daughter, Ellen Lathrem of Harrodsburg; a brother, Benson Houston of Batesville, Ind.; a sister, Monett Ball of Brookville, Ind.; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home by Donnie Releford. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Richard Spain Jr., Anthony Lathrem, Steve Jones, Willie Murray Jr., Bryan Murray and Troy Satterly.
Honorary pallbearers are Gordon Hensley, Kevin Sallee and Shaun Thorpe.
Visitation is 6-9 p.m. today and after 7 a.m. Monday.
