S. Air Force. Mr. Shirley is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and Mike Akins of Maryville, Tenn. , Donna Helms of Madisonville , Tenn. , Kimberly and Scott Floyd of Knoxville, Tenn; grandchildren, Lindsey and Cory Helms; sisters, Barbara Latham of Knoxville, Tenn. , Mickey Vaughn of Vonore, Tenn; brother, Tom Jones of Vonore, Tenn. ; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Evelyn Maxine Richesin Shirley. Graveside services will be Friday, February 19, 2010 at 2 p.m. from Hopewell Springs Cemetery.
