SAYNE , FRANK G. - age 88, of South Knoxville, passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2004 at Baptist Hospital Frank was a lifelong resident of South Knoxville and a member of New Salem Methodist Church. He retired from Cherokee Textile Mills with 35 years of service. Survivors include wife, Mary Virginia Sayne son and daughter in law, Gene and Judy Sayne step daughter and son in law, Vera Ruth and Hayes Whaley step son and wife, Bill and Diane Pruett granddaughter, Angela Miller great grandson, Charles Henderson Miller, III sisters, Wanda & husband, R.S. Johnson, Kathrene Gaucher and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held 8 p.m. on Sunday with Rev. Steve Tuck officating.
