STALLINGS , REV. FRED LOUIS - age 94, of Powell, passed away November 4, 1998, at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. Member of Community Baptist Church. Rev. Stallings was widely known in the community and pastored at several churches. Preceded in death by wives, Minnie May and Cora E. Stallings ; children, Mary Walker, Dorothy Ogle, and Carl Stallings . Survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Ether and Roxie Stallings of Radcliff, Ky., Dexter and Lois Stallings of Powell, and Wilburn and Ingrid Stallings of Vine Grove, Ky.; daughters and son-in-law, Lena and Clyde Shular of Knoxville and Joyce Lee of Clinton; step-children, Rutha Buffalo and Leon and Bonnie Bryant, all of Knoxville; 37 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; six great, great-grandchildren; brothers and sister-in-law, Howard Stallings and Hubert and Bobbie Stallings , all of Knoxville; sister and brother-in-law, Annie and Marshall Troutman of Knoxville; very special friend, Rev. Leonard Rhyne; a host of other family and friends. The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff of Lake City Health Care Center and Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m., Saturday, at Spring Hill Cemetery for an 11 a.m. graveside service. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Charles and Paul Stallings , Larry Walker, Ray Shular, Greg Sims, and Bill Buffalo. Arrangements by McCarty-Weaver Cumberland Chapel.
