Jessica Wonell Williamson Messer, age 31, of Newport, passed away Sunday, October 18, 2015. She was preceded in death by her mother, Janice Epley Williamson; sister, Tabitha Presnell and her aunt Betty Russell. She is survived by her husband, Joshua Messer; father, Jerry Williamson; brothers, Steven Williamson, Shaun (Leslie) Roberts and Terry (Mary) Cardwell; nephews, Jacob Cardwell and Ethan Cardwell; nieces, Mary Elizabeth Roberts, Macie Ann Roberts and Molly Grace Roberts; special aunt Carolyn (Moose) Gentry, and other aunts and uncles, Shirley Taylor, Darlene (Don) Jenkins, Brenda Carrell, Dorothy Gentry, Rhonda Lindsey, Joy Jenkins; and Jimmy Epley; mother-in-law and father-in-law, David and Penny Messer; special friend, Jessica Martin Norton; also several cousins and many other family and friends. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm October 21, 2015 with funeral services to follow at 2:00 pm, in Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Willie Winters officiating. Burial will follow in Morris Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Manes Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
