Mills was born September 6, 1926 in Blanchard, Oklahoma the son of Dormie Edmond and Zora [Minor] Mills and died October 15, 2006 in Chickasha, Oklahoma. Mr. Mills lived in Grady County all of his life. He was a dairyman and farmer. He and Leora Barrett were married March 15, 1947 in Chickasha, Oklahoma. Mr. Mills was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church of Dibble. He was preceded in death by: parents: Dormie and Zora Mills, 2 brothers: Kenneth and Eddie Lee. Survivors include: his wife: Leora [Barrett] Mills of the home, 1 daughter and her husband: Lawana and Richard Kunze of Shawnee, Oklahoma, 1 son and his wife: Eddie and Diane Mills of Ninnekah, Oklahoma, 4 grandchildren: Tim Kunze, Jay Kunze, Kristi Keller and husband Chris, and Kevin Mills, 2 great grandchildren: Brayden and Colby Keller, 4 sisters: Alma Jean Barrett of Norman, Oklahoma, Dena Doyle of Tulsa, Olahoma, Wilma Graham of Blanchard, Oklahoma, Juanita Diehm of Ardmore, Oklahoma. Interment will be in the Dibble Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. Lunch will be served at 11:00 a.m. before service at the Tabler Gospel Tabernacle.
