Funeral service for Mrs. Ora Barrett, 64, Blanchard, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Sevier Funeral Home.
Mrs. Barrett was born Oct 16, 1909 at Middleburg. She had been a resident of Middleburg and Tabler communities all of her life. She married John M. Barrett April 15, 1925 in the Oakridge community. They had been in the dairy business for many years, retiring six years ago. Mrs. Barrett was a memeber of the Pentecostal Church of God at Tabler and had been a member for over 40 years. She died Saturday at Grady Memorial Hospital. She had been in failing health for the past two years with a heart ailment.
Survivors include; her husband of the home; four sons, Harmon of Norman, Rex of Oklahoma City; Arbery of Wichita, Kan., and Paul of Oklahoma City; three daughters; Mrs. Leora Mills of Alex; Mrs Wanda Gaines of Midwest City; Mrs Willena Naylor of Long Beach, Calif., Mrs. Mary Gay of Chickasha; two brothers, Glen Ogle of Blanchard and Alfred of Watsonville, Calif; 17 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Interment will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
