Funeral for Georgea A. Ogle, 89, of Blanchard, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 18, 1993 in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home. She was born Oct 26, 1904, in Pauls Valley, the daughter of George S. and Alberta (Look) Griswold, the sixth of 12 children. She died Monday, Dec 13, 1993 in Chickasha. She lived in the Tabler and Naples areas all of her life. At the time of her death, she was living on the same farm on which she was reared. She and Glen Ogle were married June 29, 1921 in Oak Ridge School. He preceded her in death Jan 1, 1980. Mrs. Ogle was a member of Tabler Pentecostal Church of God where she was a Sunday School teacher for 61 years. She was a member of Blue Bonnet Club. Mrs. Ogle was also preceded in death by one grandson, Melton Dean Ashford, Jr on Dec 10, 1948; five brothers, Marion, Claude, Leon and Samuel Griswold, and one infant; three sisters, Erna Farmer, Annie Lindsay and Doris Griswold. Survivors include four daughters and three sons-in-law, LaVerne & Clarence Goodnight of Blanchard, Juanita Jackson of Lubbock, Texas, Cleta Faye and Gub Ashford of Blanchard, Wilma Joyce and Billy Pittman of Rush Springs; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Marjorie Cooper, Karleen and Floyd Nye, all of Ninnekah; one brother, Dick Griswold of Chickasha; one sister-in-law, Mary Gay of Chickasha; one brother-in-law and his wife, Alfred and Lucille Ogle of California; 10 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
