Shirley Jean Cline, 69, of Amarillo died Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2009. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Schooler Funeral Home Brentwood Chapel, 4100 S. Georgia St., with the Rev. Terry McAffrey officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Mrs. Cline was born June 25, 1939, to Rufus Jarrell and Nell Rozelle Jarrell in Amarillo. She married the love of her life, Murel "Sonny" Cline, in 1958. Mrs. Cline worked 17 years at Region 16 Education Service Center, retiring in October 2008. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her life revolved around her children and family. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Terry Cline, in 2001. Survivors include her husband, Murel "Sonny" Cline; a daughter, Dura "Dee Dee" Lake of Roanoke; three sons, Larry Bartholomew of Lubbock, Martin Cline of Amarillo and Frankie Cline of Keller; three sisters, Ramona Cooper of Lyons, Ga., Joyce Welch of Amarillo and Linda Nicholson of Grand Prairie; 16 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
