Funeral service for Gale Ogle, 59, 1417 South 18th, will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of the Sevier Funeral Home with Rev. Mart Hardin officiating.
Mr. Ogle was born Feb 19, 1917 in Tabler. He died today in Grady Memorial Hospital. He had been in failing health for the past three years.
Mr. Ogle married Thelma Stearnes on Jan 3, 1946. He moved to Chickasha in 1970 from California. Mr. Ogle retired in 1968 due to ill health. He was a carpenter.
Mr. Ogle was a veteran of World War II, serving in the European Theater of the second Armored Division of the U. S. Army. He was a member of the Baptist church, DAV, VFW and HOW.
He is survived by his wife, Thelma of the home; his mother, Mrs. Effie Ogle of Chickasha, Louis of Long Beach, Calif., Bill of Norco, Calif., and Terry of Lakewood, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Ruby Parrish of Tacoma, Wash., Mrs. Clara Smart and Mrs. Della Brigham of Long Beach, Calif. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery.
