Vance Neal Stanley died Monday at his Shawnee home at the age of 37. He was born April 16, 1959 in Chickasha to Phil and Verlene Stanley. He graduated from high school in 1997 and East Central University in 1981. He received a master of business administration degree from Oklahoma City University in 1993 and was a customer service consultant for Oklahoma Natural. He married Joni Schwartz on April 27, 1991. He was a member of Shawnee Kiwanis Club, Shawnee Homebuilders Association and Evangelistic Center. He was a past board member of the Salvation Army. Survivors include his wife, Joni Stanley and daughter Hannah Stanley of the home; his parents, Phil and Verlene Stanley, Chickasha; brother, Kirk Stanley, Chickasha and grandparents, Vernon and Charlene Smith, Chickasha, Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Mark and Mildred Stanley. Services will be 10:30 a.m. at the Evangelistic Center with Mickey Keith officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Chickasha.
