CARTER , PAMELA GAIL LONG - age 46 of Maryville passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2005 at U.T. Medical Center. She was an avid member of Central Baptist Church of Alcoa. Pam was a devoted teacher at Maryville Middle School and a member of the Alpha Delta Kappa teaching sorority. She was a loving wife, mother, and sister. Preceded in death by: grandparents, Bill & Helen Householder and Tom & Mary Long father-in-law, Pete Carter . Survivors include: husband of 26 years, David W. Carter children, Joshua D. Carter , Candace G. Carter parents, Verlan (Sonny) Long and Wilma H. Long brother, Andy Long & wife Patricia sister, Patty Stinnett & husband Tom mother-in-law, Betty Carter brother-in-law, Pete Carter & wife Kim nieces and nephews, Alyson & Taylor Stinnett, Scott Carter , and Reagan & Drew Ann Long . Funeral service will be at 3:00 PM, Saturday, September 24, 2005 in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary with Rev. Greg Kelly and Rev. George Gilbert officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Central Baptist Church of Alcoa Building Fund, 962 Springbrook Road, Alcoa, TN 37701. Interment will follow at Clark's Grove Cemetery.
