Gillie Jenkins, "Frank", "Uncle Pink", "Cappy", age 68, of Strawberry Plains, passed on to be with his Lord Saturday, September 5, 2015. Frank was a highly decorated U.S. Marine Corp combat veteran. Preceded in death by father, Gillie Jenkins, Sr.; and brother, William Warren Jenkins. Survived by mother, Mary Massey; sons and daughter-in-law, Gary and Penny Jenkins, Jason Jenkins, Nathan Jenkins; daughters and sons-in-law, Ellen and Mike Mahaffey, Amanda and Taylor Headrick; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ronnie Jenkins, Kenny Jenkins, James Alvin and Shirley Jenkins, Robert R. and Ginger Massey; sisters and brother-in-law, Nora and Maynard Fox, Pam Caudill; grandchildren, Kanan, Ryan, Jaylan, and Ricky; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 9, 2015 from 6:00-8:00pm at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway with the funeral service to follow at 8:00pm.
