August 20, 1946 - September 12, 2015 Nicole Jean Lloyd, (Nicki Rolen Hope), age 69, of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 12, 2015 after a short battle with cancer. She died peacefully surrounded by her family. Nicki was an award winning watercolor artist and a past president of the Knoxville Watercolor Society. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Dean Rolen, and her sister, Denise Taylor. Nicki is survived by her husband of eighteen years, Gary Lloyd; daughters, Deana Sykes and Nicole Hawkins; son, Jason Lloyd; grandchildren: Thomas Hawkins, Jordan Sykes, Madison Scouten, and Sophia Sykes; two great-grandchildren, Parker and Cora; sister, Sue Gillenwater; and brother, Eddie (Sarah) Rolen. Family and friends will meet at Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, 2200 E. Governor John Sevier Highway on Wednesday, September 16th at 11:30 AM for funeral services, Pastor Gary McCammon officiating.
