Ms. Shropshire was born on March 13th, 1928, to Claude and Maude Presswood . She was a loving grandmother and friend to many. She was also a dedicated Cone Mills White Oak Plant employee for 32 years. She was preceded in death by her son Steven Hines , Sr., brothers Creed, Raymond, and Hollis Presswood , and sister, Julie Freedle. She was a devoted mother to Brenda Burns, Paula Clemmons, Wilma Cousanca, Terry Hines , Tony Hines , Lois Ellis, and Dale Hines . The family will receive friends from 12:30-2 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service. The family will receive friends following the service at the residence of her daughter, Wilma.
