He was a lifetime resident of Parker County. He was a retired land man for various oil pipeline companies. He attended Weatherford High School and was a veteran of the Army Air Corps during World War II. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Gail Sanders ; and his parents. He was a member of the American Legion and the V.F.W. Survivors: Son, David Sanders and his wife, Lavonda, of Joshua; daughters, Cynthia Scanlin and her husband, Mike, of Napa, Calif. and Susan Stringer and her husband, David, of Grapevine; four grandchildren; and special friend and companion, Helen Cebula of Weatherford.
