Brandy Lynn Carter , 25, of Farmer's Hollow Road, Clinton, died Friday, April 3, 1998, of injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Clinton.
Miss Carter was a member of Covenant Life Worship Center in Lake City. She enjoyed singing in the choir and occasionally sang solos.
"She had many friends and touched a lot of lives, and they touched hers as well," her mother said. "She loved her church and her music."
Miss Carter was employed as manager of Check Into Cash on Clinton Highway, Knoxville, where she had worked since September 1995.
Born Oct. 24, 1972, in Knoxville, she was the daughter of Ronald and Lynn Carter of Clinton. She was a graduate of Clinton High School and had attended Bristol University.
In addition to her parents, Miss Carter is survived by a brother, Lee Carter and his wife, Mari-Kaye, of Clinton; her grandparents, James H. and Joyce Willis of Clinton, John and Edna Tudor of Andersonville and Clifford Welch of Elk Valley; and by several aunts, uncles and cousins she considered special.
Another grandfather, Jesse Carter , died earlier.
The funeral will be held at 8 tonight, April 6, at Covenant Life Worship Center in Lake City with the Rev. Tony McAfee officiating.
A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 7, at Anderson Memorial Gardens, Oliver Springs Highway, Clinton.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight at the church.
Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is handling arrangements.
