Survivors: husband of 58 years, Dennis Byrd of Clinton ; grandson, Jordan Stephen Byrd of Clinton ; daughter-in-law, Melissa Hood & husband, David of Clinton ; sister, Hazel Smothers & husband, Gene of Pensacola, FL; brother, Leon Massengale & wife, Becky of Oak Ridge, TN; special pets, Dixie & Chico; sister-in-law, Geraldine Carter & husband, Cecil of Clinton , TN; brothers-in-law, Granville Byrd & wife, Imogene of Clinton , TN, Al Frisenda of St. Cloud, FL; several nieces & nephews and host of other relatives and friends.
