Reva Frances Wilson Maples, 86, of Sevierville went home to be with her Lord and other members of her family Friday, May 31, 2002. She began her journey at Sevier County Health Care Center.

Mrs. Maples was a Baptist by faith and was a member of Williamsburg Baptist Church.

Reva joined her husband, George Maples; parents, Dave and Bertie Lyle Wilson; brothers, Dewey and Eulas Wilson; sisters, Martha Price, Beulah Ogle, Tennie Price and Minnie Wilson.

She will be missed by her children, Georgia Whitehurst and husband, Garland of Murfreesboro, TN, Billy D. Maples, Frank Maples and wife, Anita, Darlene Amburn and husband, Mike, all of Sevierville; grandchildren, Janie Frizzell, Dan Whitehurst, Amanda Maples, Amy Maples, Drew Amburn; great grandchildren, Andy and Betsy Frizzell; brother, Lon Whaley and wife Edith of Oneida; sister, Lilly Henry and special niece Grace Maples. Besides the immediate family, Reva will be missed by many other relatives and many friends that she has touched during her life.

Service will be 8:00 p.m. Saturday, June 1 at Rawlings Funeral Chapel with Minister Tim Frizzell officiating. Interment will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 2 at Smoky Mountains Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. Saturday, June 1 at Rawlings Funeral Home.

Rawlings Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
