She is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Maples; son, Ronnie Maples; brothers, Buster Ogle, Jesse Ogle, June Ogle; sister, Anna Belle Harmon; parents, Thomas and Annie Ogle; son-in-law, Herbert Branch and other family members dear to her heart. She leaves behind her sister, Betty Stinnett and brother Cleve Ogle, along with her children, Clark (Teresa) Maples, Colleen Branch, Becky (Jeff) Cogdill and her twins Reba (Bryan) Cranfield and Richie Maples; her grandchildren, Juanita Maples, Abby (Maples) Cotter, Tabitha (Maples) Ownby, Kelly Bailey, Shane and Shaun Cogdill, Timmothy Ogle, Viola, Briana and Rachael Underwood, Kristian Maples and Matthew Ball; numerous great-grandchildren and other family and friends. The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Friday with funeral service to follow at 7 PM in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home. Rev. Mike Beck and Rev. Shane Cogdill will officiate. Family and friends will leave Atchley Funeral Home at 10 AM Saturday in procession to Smoky Mountain Memory Gardens for graveside service and interment.
