William David "Dave" Burchfiel passed away at home on August 12, 2015 at the age of 67. Dave was a Christian man who adored his family, had a love for sports, and was the owner of Aircraft Technicians in Alcoa, TN. He served in the Army and fought in the Vietnam War receiving numerous decorative awards. Dave is preceded in death by his father, Jackson "B.C." Burchfiel, and step-son, Mark Mincy.
He is survived by his mother, Modean Burchfiel; his loving wife of 40 years, Linda Burchfiel; brother, Mike Burchfiel; son, Jason Burchfiel (BJaye); step-son, Allen Mincy; step-daughter, Deana Mincy (Tom Kier); grandchildren, Amanda Carter-Segona (Joel), Marcus Carter, Matthew Carter, Kari Mincy, Bud Mincy, Jace Burchfiel and Macy Burchfiel; and five great-grandchildren.
The visitation will be held at McCammon Ammons Funeral Home in Maryville, TN on Sunday, August 16, 2015 from 2-3:00 p.m. with the funeral following.
