Mrs. Louise W. Vasquez, born Nov. 30, 1927, departed this life peacefully surrounded by close family at home on Monday, Aug. 17, 2015. She fought a long hard battle and is now at rest. She was preceded in death by her mother and father Genevieve C. and Raymond L. Allen; husband G. C. “ Bill” Vasquez; daughter Christina Crowder. She is survived by her daughter Sharon Cox, very special granddaughter Christine “Betsy” (Bobby) Cody, her great grandsons Joseph and Daniel, granddaughter Genevieve (Bobby) Perry and her children Kelsea, and Caleb.; son Michael L. Vasquez and grandson Michael T. Vasquez, granddaughter Aubrie Crowder and her children Loki and Isabella; son Bill (Pam) Vasquez, and their children Billy, Daniel, Cody, and Kayla; very special caregivers from Amedisys Hospice Dalene Foster and Amy Trent; also Chaplain Don Price. Graveside service will be held 11:00 am Saturday, August 22, 2015 in Ray’s Chapel Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, August 21, 2015 at Manes Funeral Home.
