She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil H. Borden ; daughter, Brenda J. Don; and granddaughter, Cindy Michelle Salas. Survivors include her daughter, Cheryl Diane Thornton and husband, Duane; grandsons, Shane Thornton and wife, Twalla and Shannon "Bubba" Thornton and wife, Arlene; granddaughter, Cathy Stevens and husband, John; sister, Jean Turner; brothers, Quin Phelps and Aubrey Phelps and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The family received friends 5-7 p.m. Friday at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Graveside service was held 1 p.m. Saturday in the Lenoir City Cemetery.
