Mary Jane Presnell, age 83, went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 22, 2015. She was a member of South Knoxville Church of God for over 40 years. Preceded in death by her husband, William (Bud) Presnell; father, William Latham; mother, Betty Latham Mooneyham; sisters, Dorothy Braden, Louise Kitts, and Margaret Ellenberg; brothers, Johnny and Alan Latham; granddaughters, Marsha Hunter and Angela Denton. Survived by children, Barbara Denton, Brenda (Woodrow) Riffey, Teresa Long, Deborah Milsap, Robin (Eddie) Evans, and Bill Presnell; sisters, Nancy Floyd and Peggy Massengill; grandchildren, Donnie (Jessica) Long, Jr., Stephanie (Kris) Johnson, Eric (Kristi) Milsap, Kari (Rawley) Bishop, Kris Presnell, Woody, Chad (Cheryl), Durk and Curtis Riffey, Missy Honeycutt, Denean Kelly, Jay Denton, Jonathan Evans, Jessica (Matt) Porter; niece and best friend, Shirley Scrudder. We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Caleb Warren, The University of Tennessee Hospice, and Stella and Jerri Smelcer that provided exceptional care. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Friday July 24, 2015 at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Highway, with funeral service to follow at 7:00 pm, with Rev. Robert Branch officiating. Family and friends will meet at Sherwood Memorial Gardens on Saturday, July 25, 2015 for an 11:00 am graveside service.
