ROSE, ELLA MAE age 80, of Seymour, went to be with the lord on August 2nd, 2013. She was a member of Moorland Heights Baptist Church and retired from Baptist Hospital. She is preceded in death by her parents , Rev. Otha and Beulah Ward ; brothers, Carlos, Roy, Clifford and George Ward ; sisters, Louise Cupp and Mildred Oliver; and granddaughter, Ashley Rose. She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Beal and husband, Bobby of Seymour; sons, David Rose and wife, Diane of Maryville, and Robert Rose and wife, Carol of Seymour; brothers, Otha Ward Jr. and wife, Sue; Ernie Ward of Knoxville; sister, Shirley Green of Kodak; sister- in -law, Delores Ward ; grandchildren, Scott Skeen, Derek and Jason Rose, Dustin Rose and wife, Mykah, Misti Huggins; great grandchildren, Jesse Woods, Sara Skeen, and Jackson Rose; special nieces, Linda King, Tammy Abbott, Sharon Ingram; special great nephew, Joseph King; special friends, Pam Davis, Kathy Shelton, and Nancy Davis; and several other nieces, nephews and friends. A special thanks to the staff at University of Tennessee Hospice for their support. The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., Monday, August 5, 2013, at Gentry Griffey Funeral Chapel, with a graveside service to be held Tuesday, August 6, 2013, at Stockcreek Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. ,with the Rev. Dewey Caldwell officiating. Pallbearers will be Derek Ingram, Randy Oliver, Brad Womack, Tim and Terry Ward and Bobby King.
