REED , HELEN C. - age 79, of Knoxville, passed away Sunday, January 17, 1999. She was the widow of Ray Reed and a member of Forest Grove Freewill Baptist Church. She is survived by: one daughter, Iva Jean Newton; two grandsons, R. Mark Newton and Joseph R. Newton; four great-grandchildren, Amber, Laura, Harrison and Hannah Newton; sisters, Dorothy Broome, Pauline Creswell and Ernestine Reed ; brothers, J.R. Caldwell, Eugene F. Caldwell, David E. Caldwell; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral 2:30 p.m., Thursday at Berry Chapel, Rev. Joseph R. Newton and Rev. Marvin Castle officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Grove Cemetery. Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway, in charge.
