She was born in Knoxville , Tennessee, to the late Ralph and Dorothy Mae Foster Thomas. June was a member of Salem Baptist Church. She is survived by her son, Rusty (Donna) Cooper , McDonough , GA ; daughter, Melanie Beason, Auburn, GA ; sister, Judy (Hal) Watson, Seymour, TN ; seven grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 18, 2013, at Salem Baptist Church, McDonough , GA with Rev. Richard C. Statham officiating. Interment will follow at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 17, 2013, from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
