Rema Eureth Sands Miller "Sandy", age 84 of Maryville, passed away Monday, May 11, 2009, at the home of her daughter with her family. She was a member of Meadow Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Haley Mae White; first husband and father of her children, Fred Sands; husband, Leonard Miller; sister, Mae Ruth Ross; brothers, Hubert and Curnis White.
She is survived by all 10 children, daughters, Wanda Sue Vaughn and husband Lester of Hillsboro, TN, Gaye West and husband Larry of Sevierville, TN, Sandra K. Sands of Hillsboro, TN, Carolyn Swanson of Maryville, TN, Denise Sands of Vonore, TN; sons, Harold Sands and wife Judy of Maryville, TN, Brickey Sands and wife Valerie of Maryville, TN, Wendell Sands of Ga, Steve Sands and wife Renae of GA, Cliff Sands of Maryville, TN; 18 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Alson officiating. The interment will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday in Cloyds Creek Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-7:30 p.m. Wednesday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville.
