Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, James and Gladys Taylor; brothers, Bill and Kyle Taylor; sister, Linda Rich; and grandson, Chandler Mackey. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 65 years, Noel Mackey, former owner of Mackey's Barber Shop; sons, Terry Mackey and former wife, Debbie; and Tim Mackey and wife, Katie; grandchildren, Lauren and Chase Mackey, Deanna Gervais, Valerie and Stratton Mackey; great-grandchildren, Adriana, Landon, and Abbie; brother, Charlie Taylor and wife, Christine; brother-in-law, Mike Rich; sister-in-law, Brenda Taylor; and several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to Covenant Hospice for their love and care during Peggy's illness. Family will receive friends on Monday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Highway with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM, Pastor Larry Anderson officiating. Family and friends will meet at East Tennessee State Veteran's Cemetery, Governor John Sevier Highway on Wednesday at 9:30 AM for interment services.
