Preceded in death by: parents, Welker and Roberta Tallent brother, Carl Tallent and sister, Margaret Roberts. Mr. Tallent is survived by: wife of 61 years, Opal Cooper Tallent sons and daughters-in-law, Raymond A. Tallent Jr. and Mary Jane, Ron E. Tallent and Pam, and Rev. Jeff L. Tallent and Cindy daughter and son-in-law, Sandra T. Sterling and Choo grandchildren, Raymond A. Tallent III (Chip) and Laura Holmes of Bethelem, GA, Joseph P. Tallent and wife Elizabeth Smith Tallent of Savannah, GA, Joshua C. Tallent and Tara McClain of Johnson City, TN, Chrissy T.
