REYNOLDS, HARVEY M., JR. - age 70, of South Knoxville, passed away at home Tuesday, October 9, 2001. Member of Immanuel Baptist Church. He was a prominent and highly respected steel guitarist appearing on the Midday Merry-Go-Round and Tennessee Barn Dance in the early 1950's. During his career, he toured the Eastern United States, Canada, Europe, and Greenland, and was still very active playing every Saturday night at the Memorial Auditorium in Lenoir City. For several years he preformed with Red Speeks and the Tennesseans at the Ritz Theater in Clinton. He was preceded in death by parents, Harvey M., Sr. and Alma Reynolds, and sister, Bessie Ruth Henry . He is survived by brother, Robert Eugene Reynolds; nephews, Terry and Jerry Headrick ; niece, Sandy Coffman and their families. Funeral service Thursday, 8 p.m., Berry Funeral Home Chapel, Dr. George Hollander officiating. Interment Friday 10 a.m. Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday 6-8 p.m. at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Hwy. www.berryfunerealhome.com
