He was the oldest son of Leona and Ernest Woliver who preceded him in death as well as a brother, Hubert (Chub) Woliver . He is survived by wife of 64 years, Ruth Woliver ; daughter, Sharon Woliver ; brothers, Hoyt and Charles Woliver ; sisters-in-law, Helen Vess, Dorsey and Billie Woliver . E.L. as he's known by his friends, served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II. He worked in automotive parts before retiring. He attended church at Lake Forest Presbyterian Church. E.L. was a devoted follower of the Big Orange. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Saturday, December 22, 2007 at Berry Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet at Woodlawn Cemetery on Sunday for 1:00 PM interment services, Rev. Jason Haas officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lake Forest Presbyterian Church, 714 E. Lake Forest Drive, Knoxville, Tennessee 37920.
