March 19, 1928 - October 30, 2014 Webb, Charles William Jr. 86 of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord Thursday October 30, 2014. Charlie was a lifetime member of New Prospect Presbyterian Church. He worked for 35 years at Bell South. He played football at Young High School where he was All City and All Southern. He later played at Wofford College at Spartanburg, SC. Charlie was an avid sportsman who loved his family. He was the best grandfather and great-grandfather. He was preceded by his parents; wife, Helen Maxey Webb; brother and sister. Survived by sons, Chuck (Barbara Webb) and Randy Webb; granddaughter, Cheyenne Star; great-granddaughter, Brittany Nichols; great-grandson, Robert Charles; and special friends at the 5th Medical Evacuation Unit. Family will receive friends Saturday, November 1, 2014 at Berry Funeral Home from 5-7pm. Service will follow at 7pm with Rev. Jerry Anders and Rev. Chuck Webb. Family and friends will meet Sunday at New Prospect Presbyterian Church for a 2pm Graveside Service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to New Prospect Presbyterian Church.
