Mary Parrill Spangler Glover Webb, age 99, of Knoxville, Tennessee (living in Sarasota and New Smyrna Beach, Florida since May 15, 2011 to be near her daughter and son) passed away on Monday, May 18, 2015. She was a member of New Prospect Presbyterian Church in Knoxville and attended Covenant Life in Sarasota and Coronado Methodist Church in New Smyrna Beach. Mrs. Webb is the last of the salesladies from the Old Market Square. She sold flowers, plants, and vegetables for over forty years. Parrill was preceded in death by husbands, Frank G. Glover and Charles W. Webb, Sr.; parents, Herbert E. and Mary Ethel Spangler; sister, Zella Wilson; two brothers, Edward and Mayford Spangler; and step-sons, Paul and Charles Webb, Jr. She is survived by her son, Benny (Joann) Glover of New Smyrna Beach, Florida; daughter, Brenda Glover (Ralph) Ballard of Sarasota, Florida; grandchildren: Donna Ballard Morgan (Gary) Clegg of Seymour, Tennessee; John Ballard of Mustang, Oklahoma; Sheree Glover Hamlin of Knoxville, Tennessee; ; great-grandchildren: Lynette Morgan (Steven) Calleiro; Laura Morgan (Daniel) McNeely; Nicholas and Grace Clegg; Travis W. Hamlin; and Matthew F. Hamlin; great-great-granddaughters: Lana McNeely and Zoiey Hamlin; sister, Onilee Flynn of Seymour, Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday, May 22, 2015 at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway. Family and friends will meet at Central Point Baptist Church Cemetery at 11:00 AM Saturday, May 23, 2015 for graveside services. In lieu of flowers, donate to your church or favorite charity.
