Nellie Dunn , age 84, of Rockford, passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2008, at St. Mary's Hospice. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her son, Randy Hester; daughter, Joann Hester Moses; brother, Alvin Walker; sister, Georgia McLemore. Survivors include her husband, Carl L. Dunn ; sons daughters-in-law, Kenneth L. Alma Williams, David Kathy Dunn all of Maryville; daughters sons-in-law, Nancy Austin Moses of Knoxville, Debbie Tim Roy of Rockford, Jamie Olsen and special friend Harold Loveday all of Maryville; 11 grandchildren, Kenley, Lisa, Jerry, Deon, Becky, Tim, Eric, Tabatha, Andrew, Brittany Brandon; several great-grandchildren; sister, Willie Smith of Athens; special niece, Imogene Williams of Maryville and several other nieces nephews. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Adventa Hospice St. Mary's Hospice for their excellent care of Nellie. Family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon until 1:30 p.m., Saturday, April 5, 2008, at Smith West Chapel. Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Ronald Morton officiating.
