WARWICK, EDNA J. VALENTINE - age 83, of Halls, went to be with the Lord at 10:20 p.m. Wednesday, May 16, 2001. Long time member of Emory Pike American Christian Church. Preceded in death by mother and father, Luther and Louvicia Valentine; brothers, Aaron, Lawson, Seldon, Floyd, Orville and Russell Valentine; sister, Hazel Carnes Howard.
Survivors: loving husband and care giver for 61 plus years, Tyler Warwick; daughters and sons-in-law, Mary and Odra Dummonds, Barbara and Laymond Ford; sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Brenda Warwick, Dennis and Shirley Warwick, all of Knoxville; sister and brother-in-law, Burtha Hopson; grandchildren, Michael and Susan Duncan, Sherry and Greg Cunningham, Tammy and Jimmy Manis, Lacei Warwick, Tony Ford, Missy and Jason McRae, and Byron Warwick, all of Knoxville, Renee and Mike Wascisin of St. Louis, Lisa and Brian Keller of South Carolina; step granddaughter, Dixie and Bob Ross of Austin, Texas, and 13 great-grandchildren. Funeral service 8 p.m. Fri., Mynatt's Chapel, Rev. Dallas Herrel and Rev. Jerry Lynch officiating. Family and friends will meet 10 a.m. Sat. at Mynatt's and proceed to Barnard Cemetery for interment at 11 a.m. with Rev. Darrel Valentine officiating. Grandsons will be pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Emory Pike American Christian Church Building Fund. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Fri. at Mynatt's.
