Tean was the daughter of the late Roy and Mae Dickerson. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and retired from Millers Department Store on Henley Street after 22 years of service. Preceded in death by husband, Sherman Dixon in 1958; two dear sons, Ronald and Gary Dixon in 2015, daughter-in-law and son-in-law, Judy L Dixon and Herbert O Hicks, Jr.; two stepsons, Kenneth and Paul Dixon. Survived by daughter, Peggy Jean Hicks; daughter-in-law, Brenda Dixon; grandchildren, Mark Dixon (fiancée, Shannon Satterfield); Randy (Carol) Dixon; Rodney Hicks, Lisa (Frank) LeClaire; Annita (Matthew) Iobst; nine great-grandchildren, Cierra (Trigg) McMahan, Austin Dixon, Kyle Hicks, Peyton Pressley, Kinzie Hicks, Brandon Hicks, M J Iobst , Tyler Gusmus, and Faith Truman; five great great-grandchildren; very good friend, Linda Williams. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 10, 2016 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Highway, with a service to follow at 1:00pm, with Pastor Don Thomas and Reverend Don Dixon officiating.
