Survivors: daughter and son-in-law, Edna and Jerry Cook, Maryville; sons, Jerry Kirkland, Darrell Kirkland, both of Friendsville, Bill Kirkland, Maryville; sons and daughters-in-law, Leon and Dorothy Kirkland, Maryville, Jack and Zelma Kirkland, Louisville, Arlos and Evelyn Kirkland, Maynardville; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren; one sister; two half-brothers; several nieces and nephews; special friend, Liz Irwin, Maryville.
